We are now ISO 14001 accredited
Following an assessment by an independent body, Cable Dynamics Ltd has been awarded ISO 14001:2004 certification. This certification has only been achieved by less than 1% of UK businesses and this prestigious award is supported by the Government and recognised worldwide.
We have always been proud of the service we offer to our clients and the way we conduct our business with regard to environmental matters. Now with the award of ISO 14001:2004 certification, this has been confirmed by outside experts who are used to judging standards on a daily basis in a wide variety of trades and industries.
The assessor from QMS Quality Systems Management, who undertook the assessment, paid particular tribute to "the investment in people and training that enables Cable Dynamics Ltd to provide an efficient and environmentally friendly service to our customers"
We are committed to continually improve and promote sound environmental practice. We believe that environmental protection is a strategic business issue and an integral part of our business strategy. This Policy is designed to reflect controls, objectives and targets within the specified operations to reduce environmental impact and to comply with all existing regulatory legislation and adopt a proactive stance in anticipating future more stringent regulatory requirements.
It is our aim to develop internal awareness so that it is understood, implemented and maintained at all levels within the Company. We will ensure that all employees are aware of the potential environmental effects of their activities and the environmental benefits of improved performance and, will encourage and support initiatives that contribute to an improved environment at work. We will conserve and protect the environment by operating in a socially responsible manner according to the highest standards of environmental management available and report on the monitoring of performance targets.
Cable Dynamics Ltd have the following key environmental objectives:
Minimise waste throughout the Company through better utilisation of raw materials, energy and water and increased use of renewable, reusable or recyclable material by liaising with suppliers
Expand awareness and use of our existing recycling facilities and provide additional facilities for as wide a range as possible to reduce waste to landfill, and use only reputable waste carriers
Improve energy efficiency by sensible energy management of our buildings, equipment and vehicles
Carry out regular audits to ensure effective implementation of our Environmental Policy
